Our Story
My name is Jamey Pack, and I am the owner/operator of Timeless Tunes. As a self-taught musician with a lifelong love of music, I understand the deep connection between a player and their instrument. A guitar isn’t just wood and wires—it’s an extension of the player and their creativity.
My approach to guitar repair combines that musician’s perspective with formal professional training. I received formal training as a guitar repair technician from renowned luthier John LeVan, from whom I received a letter of recommendation. This training, along with hands-on experience, meticulous attention to detail, and endless problem-solving, has taught me the nuances of guitar setup, maintenance, and repair.
My guitar repair journey started when I noticed that no matter how much I practiced and tried, my chords and notes did not have the right sound. I began to research guitars and what makes them work, and it fueled my desire to make my own instruments play, feel, and sound the absolute best they could. What started as personal curiosity quickly turned into a dedicated craft, and it is now my passion to share that knowledge and skill along to my customers.
